Automatic opening and closing gate - Hume flap
Just fit it and tighten it firmly. Yamato's unmanned, non-powered fume flap.
To prevent backflow from rivers into drainage ditches during water discharge, various gates are installed at the drainage outlets. Among these, it is common for small drainage outlets to have flap gates that automatically open and close based on the difference in water levels inside and outside. In this case, although the gate itself is quite small, the construction involves significant additional work, such as pouring the necessary concrete for installation, sometimes creating temporary closures for this purpose, and using drainage pumps. Our company has focused on this aspect and developed the Daiwa-style automatic drainage device, the Hume Wrap, which can be installed simply by inserting it into the end of a Hume pipe and tightening bolts, significantly reducing construction costs and achieving thorough rationalization.
